Assessments Available - In Person Only

ASD assessments are conducted using the ADOS-2 with a secondary observer, and includes a comprehensive intake process,  functional assessment of adaptive behaviour, and other standardised informant reports from family/caregivers/schools as appropriate.

A comprehensive assessment helps differentiate ADHD from other conditions and identify co-occurring presentations. Diagnosis can guide tailored recommendations. 

Please note a clinical psychologist cannot prescribe medication.

Intellectual abilities and adaptive functioning can be assessed to determine whether there is an underlying intellectual disability. 

This can aid in NDIS access and/or school support or workplace adjustments. 

Referral from medical doctor required e.g. your paediatrician or psychiatrist. An assessment for FASD is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary process. 

Diagnosis must be confirmed by a doctor. A psychological assessment and report provided can support NDIS access and/or school/occupational support. 

Learning can be assessed to diagnose dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia. This can aid with receiving school supports and individualised learning strategies. 

Assessment can support placement in gifted programs, guide subject selection, and recommend appropriate challenges to prevent boredom or disengagement.
